I love post tops. I think they are one of the most inexpensive and easiest ways to finish off the perfect look on a deck or fence. So when we finally put up our fence and deck last spring, my husband told me to choose wisely because he was only going to do this once! So with that in mind, I went out to make my choices and found an incredible array of choices. For the deck post tops copper was the way I went and they have done exactly what I was told they would do. The shine itself is beautiful and we are just seeing the patina start and can’t wait to see how the weather changes these wonderful caps.

For the fence post caps, I went for a simple wood cap that reminds me of the ocean vacations on the East Coast when I was a kid. Even though they are simple they have lovely clean lines. My husband had never put post caps on before and after he did it last year he stated how easy they where to fit right over the post cap! Dare I say I told you so?
